View Full Version : Has anyone used this Nuvi mount?

Has anyone used this mount for their Nuvi? It says it uses the Nuvi cradle and I'm wondering if that cradle is secure enough for motorcyle use. Looking at pictures, it looks like the cradle that comes w/ a RAM mount may be more secure. But I sure like the looks & attachment method of this mount better:

firefighter, you ever get that mount installed? Is it a RAM mount?

I did. It is a Ram mount but insted of moutning to handle bars I got the device made for a Gold Wing that mounts to the bracket that holds the front brake resivoir. I had to do some modifying but seems to work well. Just remove the two hex head screws out, new screws with mount and read to go. I will take some pics tonight.
