New Bike

Hello to all! I just bought my first bike ever! Grew up around bikes my entire life and my husband now rides as well. A few of you may have met him, his screen name is candy orange something or other. Anyway...my name is Melissa, I have a great hubby of 10 years and 3 great kids. I am looking forward to learning how to ride, and am planning to take the motorcycle safety course. Still very, very wet behind the ears so to speak. Can't wait for the first time I actually get out on the highway with my husband Cliff. Take care to all.

Glad I'm not going to be the only lady rider around now. The guys from this forum are great. Hope to meet you soon. I started on a honda 750 ace, It took me only a year and I was on the 1300 and love it!!!

Thanks All for the warm welcome you have given my BETTER HALF.
We been practicing ever day after work on the bike and She is doing better every day. Hopefully soon we can all meet out at a bike night and you all can meet her in person. Then, maybe we can all form a brain trust and answer the question " How did I get so lucky". :D :D

Yep, Shes a hottie and damn but she can cook also.

I think it may have been temporary insanity.
Maybe some form of alcohol induced psychosis.
What ever it was, it obviously involved some form of vision impairment.

Welcome Honeydust29! Congrats on getting your first bike. I'm an on again off again poster. Lots of stuff in the past year to deal with: Mom had breast cancer, Dad died and then I got pneumonia. I'm starting to get myself together again. If you ever want to ride together, email me and I'll send you my cell number.
