I just wanted to let everybody know the great experience I had today at the Motorcycle Clinic in Kisseemmee.

Well, it all started like this.

I drove 30 miles for my appointment set for "today" with Brian for a DYNO tune. Come to find out that my appointment was not for today. It was for tommorow. Brian said "let me see what I can do". He went to the back, talked to his Techs, came back and said "I moved some stuff around, lets do it". That was the first plus.

The next thing was that I could not just drop it off and pick it up later because I did not have a ride home. So, I did the next best thing. I waited there. Let me tell ya, I was there a few hours and the shop staff were great. They made me feel right at home. The main person I talked to at the front desk was Joey. Although he was busy working aranging the store and taking care of other customers, he made sure not to ignore me and made me feel welcomed. The hours that I was there seemed like minutes.

Thirdly, while the bike was been tuned Brian made sure to take time out and explained to me how the Dyno Graph worked and what was the bikes problem and solution. After several Dyno Runs and one street run, the X rides perfect.

In conclusion, I want to thank everyone at the "Motorcycle Clinic" in Kisseemmee for their great work and Customer Service. I am very pleased and will definetly go back when ever I need something else done to my X.

I recomend them to every one looking for great service at a great price.

I also want to thank Kevin from Eustis for recommending them to me.

Thanks Again,
Gus

Ok, so please give us a little more of the details.

Dyno tune, what can it do for a basically stock X ?

Estimated cost to do this sort of thing?

Benefits?

Thanks

Im no expert and anybody correct me if Im wrong. I dont think you get anything out of a stock x. JMO

Mine has after market intake and exhaust (and many more) and was not adjusted properly when installed. They practically ran it in the DYNO and measure the Air/Fuel ratio and determined it was runing lean. They adjusted the carburator added a part here and there and ran it again on the DYNO a few more times and corrected the the ratio.

The bike was a tiny slugish in low RPMs, (I only noticed because I have 2 X's, and the other ran very smooth), now it has more pick up in the low RPMs and has more go power taking off.

Cost: You would have to talk to Brian. All bikes need different adjustments.

Benefits: A bike that is uniquely tuned to exploid its highest potential from the installation of aftermarket performance parts.

Conquistador - You are making me think I've just waited too long! I've been waiting a couple of months for Joey to call and tell me they finally got the chrome master cylinder in so I can get it and the dyno in one trip from Melbourne. Maybe it's time to get the dyno and just find the chrome elsewhere. You are very right - the Clinic and Brian are great. I've been treated very well everytime I am there and have taken my friends there too.

By the way the chrome neck trim you suggested came in today!

I have a question for ya.

If I remove the pair valve, would that make me have to re-tune :?: or should it be ok :?:

Thanks

Lee,

You are going to be glad you ordered the Chrome Neck. It looks very nice. Its those little details that although some people dont notice makes the bike stand out from the rest.

On my end, Im looking for the time so that I can paint the engine Black. I think I will look sick on a black X.

MOD ON!!! :pepper1:

Gus - You are right the difference is in the details and of course the available $$ to mod.

Brian - I will give you a call. I need the 1300 master cylinder.

Kevin - not to worry you will always be the Master. At least until someone rises to the bait and buys your beautiful VTX. I can guarantee however you will never see chrome balls on my bike. I'm still using mine and like them just where they are!

OK what is this "clinic" and what does it cost?
When and where is the next one?
Do those that have attended recommend others going?
What can I expect there?
