Hey Flukeman,
http://bigbikeriders.com/photopost/data/500/1116XXbuzzsaw_1_.gif
We missed you around here, I went riding once the sun came out this weekend and have been on more than off ever since. It was major windy today though, wears ya out after awhile. Picked up a Harley license plate backup plate in Auburn for 7.00, nice chrome. Gonna work on it a little later. Oh yeah, one of my buds had an extra Fluke model 10 and gave it to me yesterday. What a nice piece of equipment. lol.

That's good you got out for awhile. I didn't do any riding at all. I finally managed to wash the bike on Monday to get ready for the week. I loved riding without the windshield, but it's too much for everyday.

I used the stock mount as a template to mark the holes for drilling. Works pretty slick. Yeah, things are mellowing out at work. Just alot of maintenance going on. I'm thinking another get together is coming on. Hopefully soon.

Thanks for the message.

Al, dude, I'm right here in front of my puter...duh! lol.
Yep, I'm ready for another coffee break and some ridin'. I've got tomorrow off and so does Mrs. Blue so we're gonna get an early start and ride up to Lake Cushman via Purdy and Allyn and Hoodsport etc. Weather is supposed to be fantastic and should be a fun ride. Been doin some riding with my new wide levers, drivers backrest and pilot highway pegs and have concluded that all were a worthwhile investment. Lookin forward to breakin em in on the long ride tomorrow in comfort and style! I've got Natl Guard drill on Sat and Sun but I'm not disappointed as the weather is supposed to be crappy starting Sat. Maybe we could have coffee sometime the following weekend? Still can't wait to hook up with some of the other x'ers as well for a kewl ride but I've been seeing how tuff it is to get any kind of ride together. Anyhow let me know dude...

Take care and be safe :)

Sounds cool my brutha... You have a nice ride tomorrow. Glad those things worked out for you. I wish I could go with you but I skated last friday for the super long weekend. The following weekend sounds fine. There's another guy in Poulsbo that might want to hook up. I was thinking maybe we could meet him in Silverdale and then go for a ride up Port Townsend way..

Well, think about it.

Ride safe...

Ride to Port Townsend sounds great! I will put it on top of my schedule. Guess we'll have to look at the weather when it gets closer to see which day might be best.

Take care

Was an awesome ride to Hoodsport, Al. The ride along Hood Canal on 106 is awesome! The weather was incredible. Was cruising in my short sleeve shirt and leather vest. Man, what a difference that backrest makes! Even had lunch in your home turf at some dump called Bobaloos. The food was awful!

Take care

That's a nice putt. My lil sister live out that way around twanoh tides. We just set out some crab pots a bit ago. Don't know about Bobaloos, never ate there. JimmyD's is pretty good. How do you like your cruz pegs? I use mine all the time now.

Later dude..

I luv the pegs. I ordered the pilot pegs cause they are wide as far as foot area and they are short as to how far they stick out. The last pegs I had stuck out too far from the bike and I didn't like my legs way the hell out there. I've got them set up kinda like yours where during around town riding my ankles are resting comfortably on the running boards and the rest of my foot is resting on the pilot pegs thus allowing me quick and easy access to the brake and the shifter. This has become my normal riding position. When I cruise the freeway, I can shift my feet so that the arch of my foot is square on the pilot pegs thus allowing more of a stretched out position but close enough in so that I'm not spread eagle. Looking forward to coffee and riding...hopefully this weekend...

Take care and be safe!

Yeah, the latest forecast isn't lookin' so good for the weekend. Hoping for some change. Al, I know from reading lots of your threads that you ride rain or shine and enjoy either way. I, on the other hand, am a fair weather rider. I bought my bike strictly as a recreational vehicle and don't ride in foul weather unless I get caught in it. Anyway, I'm still holding out hope as it is a ways of still that w'ell have a decent day this weekend to do that Port Townsend ride.

Take care bud and ride safe...

Yeah, kinda looks that way. I was yakking with pstlpete and maybe the following one would be better. I am planning my vacation to do some backpacking/climbing in the Mount Rainier NP and we may opt to go up to do some recon..

No problem about the FW. I understand.

You do the same, TTYL..
