I made an interesting (at least to me) discovery last night. I was sitting at a light waiting for it to change. It was one of those horribly long, seemingly never ending lights. I noticed that the directional lever could be pressed in. I thought the switch was broken. I had taken it apart a while back to polish the covers. I turned the sitch on, it worked. I pressed the switch in and the directional canceled. Hmmmm, is it supposed to do that? I did it again and sure nuff, it didnt fall apart but turned off the directional.

I admit that I didnt read the manual, I did go through what I considered the important parts. But the section on directionals seemed unnecessary. I guess you may never know whats important.

Cool! I didnt know it either. I dont know how many times I have ended up turning my other directional on trying to turn the other side off. That has been a pet peeve of mine with Hondas for awhile now.

Yep, push to cancel signals have been a feature on most metric motorcycles since the early '80s.

Even my Goldwing that has self canceling signals has the push to cancel feature in case you unintentionally activate the signals.
