how about a fist holding up the middle finger with VTX written on
the 3 middle knuckles of course with a backround of black with flames.
sorry about the middle finger comment - i was just thinking about all the cabbies i have been riding around.
how about a death to cabbies patch?
hmm cabbies patch dolls?
i hope we have some creative types here i would like to stat seeing what you guys come up with.

I like the idea of a NY VTX riders patch. I'm not much of an artist, though...

We just went through this here in Connecticut. We came up with a few versions for a 12"x12" patch and vest pin then voted in a poll.
Click on the link below to see what we came up with.

#2 was chosen for the 12"x12" patch, and #4 for the pin.
I'm spending more time poking around in this NY board, than in the CT board!
Hope you guys don't mind...

Jetjocky --
I think we should take Manny's lead on this, and get something together for NY riders. I don't think our state makes as good a background shape, but I'd like to see the rest of CT's #6 logo (with the state name changed, of course) available as maybe a long-sleeve tee-shirt silkscreen pattern. That would be less expensive than a patch, and I imagine might appeal to all of us. What do you think? Do you know who would be good to go to with our ideas for patches/pins/t-shirts to get them done?
Manny --
I'm glad you're sticking your 2-cents-worth in on our board -- maybe you can help us (finally) figure something out in the way of patches/pins/t-shirts for the NY riders. I also like your idea about the ferry -- I hope that a few of us will be able to catch up with you sometime this summer. On a separate note, I see that you're 'cubanito' -- la abuelita y tambien la madre de mi esposa son de Cuba, provincia de Camaguey.

I have a Silk Screen Company directly accross from the airport, if we have a design I can run it by them for prices. He is a whole sale shop so we will cut out the middle man....

Manny --
You've already been extremely helpful. Thanks for figuring out how to get the shape of NYS into the background on the pin design. It would've looked pretty funny if we left the shape of Connecticut in the background of our NY stuff... :D
Jetjocky/Manny -- I think what I'd really like to see as a silkscreen design (for tee-shirts) is EITHER what CT has as patch design #6 (see link above), but with the state name changed (of course), and maybe WITHOUT the silhouette of NYS in the background, OR the same design for the pin shown above, but without the NYS silhouette in the background, and missing the shield-shaped frame. Manny, would you be able to explain to me how I could do something like that, so we'd have something to show Jetjocky's silkscreen guy?
I also think that either of those designs (that I just described) would make great-looking patches, as well.
What do you other guys think?

Guys,
We can have it priced both ways...Patch & Silk Screen, two diffrent shops.
All I did was use Adobe, remove Conn, and place NY in its place.
If any one has another design, please e-mail me....bsivori@talonair.net
and we can get this off the drawing board and onto a Jacket or T Shirt.

Anybody see the patch on the honda direct line site? All you would have to do is contact the maker and add New York to it. Or an NY at the top. http://www.hondadirectlineusa.com/store ... =507684152 (http://www.hondadirectlineusa.com/stores/product.asp?pid=2548&str=11&ID=507684152)

I like that! It should work really well with 'New York' in an arc just above the flames, in the same type/font as 'riders'.
I think it would make a great patch, as well as a great tee-shirt silkscreen.
Jetjocky -- would you be able to look into getting this done? I'm particularly interested in a long-sleeve black or gray t-shirt version.
Anybody else have any thoughts on this whole thing?

I do believe that we have New York VTX riders shirts. Didn't any of the LI guys get one or 2? If you go back through these threads we had our shirts done and could be a patch. Iwill have to search but The BoBo had it as his avatar for a while.
Video did up a sample for us and it is just like the LI patch only with New York at the top and we went with that on our shirts. I just believe if and when we do them again we do more BLUE in the VTX part. Cool ED has the art work and I do believe someone who could do a patch as well.
