New Member From Idaho Falls

Hey All,
Went on a ride Saturday and met a meber of this forum. We talked a bit and I told him I'd join. Did that last night but it took a day to get authorized.

I've had my 1800 C for two years, just turned 16,500 on it and I'm headed for Elko and Reno on the 23rd for the ALR Rally.

Looking forward to doing some Idaho X rides...

Welcome aboard, I'm glad to see you made It. I've told a few others about it but have'nt herd any thing yet. you sould do the icecream run on tue. 7:30 at Arby's. If I dont see you before have a good time in Nevada.

Welcome to the Board as you can see the Idaho forum is very very sleepy...if you and yours are ever in SW Idaho and need any info hollar and I'll see if I can help.

I don't think I'll be making the Ice Cream Run till I get back from Nevada, but maybe. I have to move my office by September 1st, with the time I'll be in Reno, that doesn't leave me much time....

Well the ride to Reno was long and hot, My VTX went the whole trip including a side trip to Virgina City and Pyrimid Lake... With out a hitch... I bought a beaded seat cover for the trip and I have to say, next to my VTX it's the best investment I ever made... The temps on the ride during the day were around 104... no monkey butt here !!!

jmead I am up and running. It may take time for big blue and I to make it here. after all it is only a 1300 :D

Colder weather is here and I am a fair weather rider. Haven't checked here for awhile like its been said this site is sleepy. I am from Soda Springs which is in the SE corner of the state about an hour and a half from IF. I am always looking for a ride. I have a 1300 retro..........Captain_s54

A jaunt over Fish creek Summit
to Lava Hot Springs would be a nice little ride and warmer upper.
I'll be driving over to SE Idaho within the next month or so... a soak at Lava Is always a must.

It was cold this AM on the way to work here 25F.

53 M..I do wade now and then. The bike is put up for the winter. Have fun in Lava.
