No big event that I know of! Motorcycle Mike is riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. He left on Thursday so he has not been posting. I've been watching my SO learn to ride on her 750. Hey, come to think if it that was a big event.

Yep, Bardo. I'm sittin' here, surrounded bya few Xes, A Rune, a Wing, even a Yammi and an Ultra Classic just pulled out of the driveway....oh, wait, this is every day down here....Just waiting to get Mingo Wings on Tuesday! ;) No special X event this year for Labor Day like last year... that I've been filled in on anyway!

Well, I can't speak for everyone.. but I would have loved to have been riding :roll: or posting :roll: or just about anything other than catching up with the crap I needed to be doing around the house... LOL

And the weather has just been crappy... 'cept the weekend I choose to get caught up :roll:

My next few weekends should be open for at least some day trips, if anyones got some ideas?

I just did the same thing myself. (went out for a ride by myself) Really went nowhere to speak of. Just washed the scooter this morning and needed to go look for more bugs. Plus, I don't know about you guys... but these Monday holidays always screw me up. (Saturday feels like Sunday, etc...)

Yeah, but Saturday will be here sooner again! :beer2: I'm about to go outside and wash mine as well. Probably wax it and polish the chrome too. Noticed yesterday that it was the dirtiest it's been in the 3 years that I have owned it. Riding in the rain a few times will really mess up a clean bike.

I have been looking for a job, getting ready for a wedding, and riding my butt off. Ted(Havebikewilltravel) got me hooked up with a Albany riders group. Every thursday we got out and eat somewhere then every Saturday we ride somewhere.

Well today was our Saturday so to speak. We usually ride about 8 hours today was 10. Travelled from here in Albany to Columbus, Pine Mountain, Warm Springs, Plains, and back to Albany. I would inform ya'll of our route in case the super cool southside folks wanted to hook up with us but we dont know where we are going until we finish eating breakfast at the local Steak and Shake.

Anywho it's been a blast and I'm currently looking for a beefier passenger cushion for my dearest. She loves the floorboards and the backrest. Try as BadX might the stock passenger pilon is still a no-go. Any of ya'll got suggestions or old ones to sell? Let me know what is the best of the best for long haulin before HDL's sale is up in case noone else has got a used one for sale.

*UPDATE*
Went on ahead and ordered the Ultimate Passenger Seat. Sale ended 0800 this morning. Chose the Ultimate more because it was the only passenger seat you could order without buying a drivers seat too. Hope it's nice.

Been working at the archery shop, (season opens this saturday) so Ive been up to my ears in bows, strings and cutting arrows!! Rode the "back" way home yesterday, it was a nice change of scenery....rural GA is very pretty!!
