New rider new member

Just wanted to say hi, I'm new to this board, riding and the vtx. I went to Spfd, Procycle to look at a ACE and came out with a 2002 VTX1800s at price I could'nt refuse. I know, big for A NEW RIDER, but I have rode rockets and dirt bikes in the past. I picked up the bike at the end of april and have managed 1500 miles so far. It looks like most of the Missouri members are from St. Loius and Kansas City. I'm hoping to find some Springfield area riders to hit the Ozarks and maybe meet up with the big city riders from time to time. Shawn

I originally was looking at 1100 Aeros. A member here told me to go to ProCycle in Columbia, MO. I did and came away with an '02 VTX1800S AND an '03 VLX600 Deluxe for the wife. I could not turn down those prices. This VTX1800 is my first street bike, but I ride the largest dirt bike you can buy (Honda XR650R), so I figured I had to have the largest production street bike! Makes sense, right?

You guys need to come to our forum and and wake everybody up,get these "Big city boys" pumped up for a ride,don't take no for an answer..
