Does anyone have any input? I would love to hear a set. They look pretty sharp.

I looked into the VTXexhaust mod for my N, but I am reading some pretty harsh reviews.

Anyone have a set of either?

Get the V&H Big shots. Sounds great. Worth the high $$$$$ too. :wink:

I prefer the fat pipe look similar to the factory ones.

I have not, as of yet, because I want a strait cut tip. But I am still "shopping" at this point.

I have the VTXexhaust. I love them. They sound great and cost hundreds less than any other exhaust out there. Only problem is I have big saddlebags am having serious clearance issues. I am now looking into getting the doolies for greater clearance. That is the only reason I am getting rid of the vtxexhaust.

Don't think so. If we go anywhere this weekend it will be to the Thunder Beach Rally in PCB. Depending on your timeframe I'll try to get up to your neck of the woods. Or we could meet somewhere in the middle.

Glad this resurfaced. I should have my new pipes next week sometime. HK 3"'s. So my VTXexhaust will be available. The are in need of a good cleaning though. My RiverRoad slants got burnt on them. Let me know what you want to do Towed. I may be up near Atl tomorrow for the March of Dimes thing at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Uhhh depends on if anymore gracious forumites give me some of their old stuff. This dude ChrisH has been a real big supporter of the troops and has been in contact with me during and since my deployment. He was kind enough to just offer me some HK 3"s. So, since I was blessed with someone kind enough to do that, it is a simple thing to turn around and do the same. I want to say againg, not just ya'll, but all the people I've come across on this board are some really incredible individuals.

I'd really like to hear those pipes after you put them on. I'm thinking about sending mine out to VTXexhaust, but I'd like to hear them first. Or if you decide you don't want them, I'd love to have them. Let me know.

Looks like I'll get them the weekend of the 20th. Hopefully I'll get them cleaned up and installed the 21st. I'll let you know when you can hear them. If their not what I want you can have them.

GT It's always on Mayor. It malfunctions now and then but it's always on. :lol:
