Oh it's on baby! Daytona Beach, Florida's Biketoberfest is ready to roar into town! :pepper1: :mcrider: :beer3:
Some of yall are old hats to Biketoberfest, others this is your first time and others just want to see what's going on.
Well it's all good.
Bikes, bikes and even more bikes. :orac:
Sprinkled with thousands of chicks on Bikes, Food :eat1: Music,
Beer :beer3: Souvenirs etc.
It's great.
Sponsored by the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City but its much bigger than all that. It encompasses several counties, many cities and towns in between.

There are Biker events at the Daytona Race track and bookoo vendors there. They will even allow you to ride your VTX ON the Race Track.

Let's do the Biketoberfest thing.
Go to the Florida Chapter tab.
Choose the Central Florida location
That's where we're posting our Meet & Greets!

WHO ALL ARE GOING? :?: :blkc:

I have been for the last several years. Its better than the spring event to me.

Not as many people, not as hot.

Sometimes u even need a jacket in October in Daytona.

Leaving Indy on the 13th and riding to VA. Taking the Skyway to the BRP and going down to Deals Gap. Riding to Dayton and will be there for a few days. Riding over to I-65 on Friday, turn right and going home. Looking forward to the trip. I have not been on the BRP nor to Biketoberfest. Should be an xciting trip.

Paint

the fall event in Daytona is shorter than the spring Bike Week

It really doesn't crank until Thursday

There is alot of setting up going on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The BMW dealership usually has a stunt track set up in their parking lot. It was well worth the time to watch the stunt champs on the bikes.

Jimmy Vanzant is usually at the Broken Spoke. Does alot of Lynard Skynard covers.

GTvtx,

I live just outside of Daytona Beach and Biketoberfest is smaller than Bike Week, but there will still be a lot of bikers around.

Best Campgrouds: 1) Thunder Glutch on Hwy 1, just north of Ormond Beach. A lot of partying and music, extremely wild, so don't expect to sleep much at night; 2) Daytona 200 Motorcycle Club camping-not as much partying, but alot of bikers from throughout US and Europe stay there. Indoor/Outdoor showers and facilities, big screen TV, pool table, use of indoor kitchen, fire pit for BS sessions, indoor area in case of rain to throw darts, play pool, or just BS, security at night. Just 4 miles from the major party areas. Website- www.daytona200mc.com; (http://www.daytona200mc.com;) 3) Volusia County Fair Grounds-Florida ABATE has camping spaces for $10; however, the area is low and if it rains it is pretty muddy.

Best bar/barely clad women: Cabbage Patch Bar is the wildest place. Don't carry the young or those that may have issues with nudity. Bring a camera, some of those young ladies will take a picture with you, if you like. This is a really wild place. Try to make the Cole Slaw Wrestling contest. If you want to check it out - www.cabagepatchbar.com; (http://www.cabagepatchbar.com;) other places: Iron Horse Salon; Trader Jacks or OB's Bar (both in DeLand). Again, not recommended for those younger than 18.

Also, don't forget to go on Main Street. It can get crazy; but local law enforcement has been arresting women that expose themselves. Still happens, but they will arrest those they catch.

If you like it milder, go to the Daytona International Speedway on Hwy 92. Demo rides by all the major bike companies, a lot of vendors, and a lot of bikers hit this area.

Yeah same here. Must be the HUGE discounts Honda is giving!

Darn good event this year. A bit on attendance but once your in it,
it was well worth it.

I think the heavy rains put a damper on everything.

SEE YOU ALL AT BIKE WEEK MARCH 2008
