I am looking into getting a Mustang seat. I'm happy with my current BadX modded seat but my wife is showing more interest on going out on rides and she can only take 30-45 minures before she's ready to jump off. I have heard many good things about the mustang but with the $600 price tag I want to be certain that she'll be comfortable on it. I am also curious as to how much it moves my riding position on the bike. All that being said, does anyone know of a place that might have these in stock and willing to let me test ride? Thanks, Eric

Thats a tuff question :!: by test ride do you mean actually riding or just sitting on a seat at some cycle shop? You might give the Mustang maker a shout and see if they are going to have a booth somewhere in Daytona for Biketoberfest!

I remember seeing a trailer 2 years ago with Mustang seats where HDL had their tent on us1(Ridgewood St.) As I recall, Ultimate was set up there also. Im sure they will be down there, just need to know where.

i like the looks of both mustang and ultimate, what sold me to the ultimate
was not only it fits better to me, the way it fastens, the mustang just didn't
make me feel safe with my passenger seat as ultimate's did.

the popular mustang for 1300C

look at figure 4 mounting passsenger seat, see you remove existing mounting bracket.
leaving a little tongue connection to your seat and a tiny screw only thing holding passenger on.

the ultimate uses existing passenger bracket with 2 new fasteners,
you see mustang doesn't.

i'd look at mid boy or lowboy, whichever suits your body and weight

Called JP Cycles. They said I could buy it and if I didn't like it I could take it back... I guess that's my best bet as of now.
