New VTX'r NW Arkansas

After a 30 year hiatus I've finally gotten another bike. Puchased a 2003 VTX 1800R yesterday. What a great machine and the technology has sure changed. Put 100 miles on it yesterday and enjoyed every minute. :D Glad I found this site. It will be a great place to hang out.

The one thing I miss on the bike is a Tach. Any recommendations on an aftermarket tach for this.

Welcome ... you will love this machine!!! I put a tach on mine, ordered it from HDL. It works fine but I would spend the few extra bucks and get the "better" tach next time, my needle vibrates like all get out. Take care and keep the shiny side on top. Pedro
