I'm sure that I'm not the only one that would like a Calendar of Events for the Year. Maybe the events, rides, and bike nites could be included. I know it would make planning the year easier. I tend to lose track of things like the Canada Trip, Surgis, and every other thing. I'm not a very good planner or organizer but some people have the talent. What are your thoughts on this?
Cheers,
Rowland

Rowland, here's a link to just what you're asking for, although I feel it's not been taken advantage of.
To give credit where credit is due, I believe this was created by Tony (WSUVTX). Randy the X Man seems to be the majority user. Kudos to both!
I'm part of those who've not!
The shame!

Yes as Bob said Tony started a yahoo group a while back for the specific function of the calendar. The calendar link is
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/VTXOAWA/cal
The group site is
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/VTXOAWA/
Yahoo groups work great. If you leave a post it will go out automatically to all members. Personally I think it would be great for all active VTXOA to register. It does not replace the forum but does things the forum cant like host photos, and files.
Another option is my web site at
http://www.motonorthwest.com/ aka www.nwbikers.com (http://www.nwbikers.com)
The Calendar is empty right now on both sites. But as we get into the first of the year I will begin listing events. There was well over 100 last year. Plus there is tons of other info on the site.
In case anyone is wondering I am changing the name to motonorthwest. The domain is nwbikers and will remain so. So the old address will allways work.
Thanks

This sounds great I will check it out. I heard something said about it a Winthrop but not enough was said about it at the time. Sounds like a more detailed discription might be good. Right after I posted this thread it had several hits of Viewers so there are others that have the same interest in keeping up with what is going on?
Live The Ride,
Rowland
