I had mentioned this in a previous post somewhere, but apparently it got lost in transit. I'm curious to know if we can include a "motorcycle rodeo" event or two in one of the upcoming rides. I thought it might be fun to put out some sort of obstacle course to test us. It just might be both fun and educational if done right. The whole point is to have fun! OK - that said, is anyone intrested? I don''t even know where to begin on this - just thought it would be fun, that's all. Not meaning to put out a course for trials bikes or anything like that, but it will be interesting to see who can go the slowest, fastest, stop the fastest, turn the tightest, etc.
What do you think?
Fun or not fun?

Sounds like you might enjoy a real rally. You know the one with lots of Harleys and guys and gals all in Black Leather. Some of the gals may not have much on at all. Usually includes rock and roll and large quantities of Beer (optional and not required), and Biker Games. Not quite a rodeo but fun to watch. There is a rodeo rally in Springdale.
Thanks

Hey Pink
A rodeo can be a lot of fun if the crowds into it, I tried it a few years back at the chelan rally, didnt win anything and watched a few bikes dropped. Decided in the future i would just be a spectator.
So practice up and I look forward watching you compete!!!!

I've seen the level at which some of those guys compete....I can't hold a candle to 98% of them......

Well, for us "non-experts" I was thinking something like an obstacle course. Something simple like some cones (like on the endorsement test) and maybe two parallel lines 4 inches apart by 50 feet long to see if you can stay inside them. Maybe who can ride the slowest between two 40-ft markers, who can turn the tightest and fun stuff like that. The key word was "FUN" - you know like having your passenger grab an apple with her mouth as you ride past. I have never been to a real rally, but seen some pics. I figured you guys would have some cool ideas to make some sort of fun competition or something. Just thinking with the back side of my brain. I really should get back to work.
