We took some pictures and Then I turned him loose. He was hooked nicly in the lip on the rear treble hooks. also in the net I found Just the head of the sucker. 8) :pepper1: Iam having a replica made. Sweet. Just got me a 27 1/2 inch Walleye out of the Nekoosa (sp) river in central Wis. Just shy of a trophy size so I tossed him back. Got him jiggin' in about 13 ft of water using a trusty 'ole minnow. I thought I was snagged and was bringing in the line then it went straight to the bottom

Gramps, sounds awesome. I've yet to catch the Dali Lama Musky myself but I look forward to the day. I have a good friend who guides for Musky in Tomahawk, WI.
Can't wait to see the pics

Gramps,

Nice pull! The first time I went Musky fishing, between 2 of us, we caught about 20 of them between 36" and the 52" (the largest one). Most were about 42" or so.

It was down in Southern Illinois by Kincaid lake. It was during the Mississippi floods and all the Musky were trying to get up this spillway....it was like shooting fish in a barrel. I have never caught one since.

Congrats on such a nice fish!
