View Full Version : Ice cream riders
Any one out there from the Ice cream rides. I know the summer is over and the bikes are put to bed for the coming white stuff and I was slow get hookup with the message board. I have even posted a note or two and have not heard from any of the VTX ice cream riders. Am I now all alone in Idaho Falls.

What the hell is a ice cream ride?
Well if you get to IF in the summer a group of us go on a ride every Tue. nite and stop some place and get an ice cream at the end. So it is called the ice cream ride. So when summer comes around meet us at arbys on broadway on tuesday at 7:00 pm. and we hit the road at 7:30. So if you are up from soda. Come join in all rider welcome.

I'm still here too, Don't make it to the forum as often as I should. There is a ride around town the day after Thanksgiving, starts at 8:AM for breakfast at the IHop out by Edwards, they are then going to ride to the bike shops, and a few other places...
Tryig to get a weekend ride going if the weather permits down to Viking Leather in Dayton as well..

You guys are animals. I am much closer to Viking Leather and it's too cold for this old cat. It has been exeptionally warm this fall but still to cold to ride for more than a very short window in the afternoon.

I don't know if it's that we're animails or just nuts! If the roads are good, I try to ride. Last Chirstmas day a guy from Basalt and I rode up to Spencer only issue we had was the throttle cable froze on his trike.

Alias,
So what kind of bike do you ride?
alias I would like to have rode today but I have a bad wing right one. Makes it hard to run the gas and break when you can not lift your arm. 2 weeks out from being cut, so the bike was put up for just two days before. But I did see some bike out to day and I wish I could have been there. But Big Blue has had some new add on. Case guards, road pags and pull backs, Spot lights, seat rack and to cover up were the fork bag beats the fender a new Bra and also some paint for the tank and last but not lest pipes before next Summer.
PS. 8:00 AM that is sled temp.

Howdy All! I am originally from IF and now reside in Juneau, Alaska. I am going to Denver for ther Coloradical July 4th 2008 and will be in IF before and after the Denver leg of my trip. If it works out that I am in town of a Teus nite I would like to hook up with you all at Arbys. If anyone is thinking about attending the Coloradical you are welcome to come along. There is a lot of info on the Colorado site about the ride if you are interested. See ya in IF this summer.

I have been watching the main board for about three years now, but just decided to join in December. I have Reservations at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Denver Tech Center (303-649-9969) from July 2nd with a check out on the 8th. I was thinking about departing IF on Monday, June, 30th which would give me two days to get to Denver, but could leave earlier to take advantage of the weekend. Actually my schedule before the 2nd and after the 7th is flexible so if someone wanted to take the long way to or from Denver it would be OK with me.
If the Denver thing doesn't work out for you I plan on doing some day and two days trip out of IF while in town and your welcome to ride along if you like.
I'll post my trip plans on the Idaho board this spring to see if you or anybody else is interested. In the mean time throw another log on the fire, get your maps out and day dream about riding the Colorado Mountains with 250 for your new best friends.
Life is short let's ride.

Sounds good MattFidaho. As mentioned I'll post my trip plans on the Idaho board in the spring. Maybe we can draw a few more riders form the area who are interested in attending the 2008 Coloradoical.
