Ain't it amazing what you can do with a rattle can?

That's right -- It's amazing that you can find cans w/ paint that would stand high temperatures. The trick is to take the parts off and then put them back without "leftovers".
I had some parts powdercoated by a bike shop and there were so many problems w/ the finish tha I decided to use powdercoat only on parts that really need it.
There is a plus ( besides cost ) w/ the can --- You can always touch them up without marks.

PS: We did not have the fins done for a simple reason: The bike is black and already has a bunch of chrome ( lots of it ), so, the normal "thing" is to wait a bit and see ( The owner will decide ) if it will look "too busy" with the fins polished or if leaving the fins all black will give it a good contrast against the chomed parts. As I said He has time and He will decide.
PS: By the way. It's not correct to say that I did it. Itwas done by JM, Myself and his brother ( Reynaldo), as a team ( The way it's supposed to be ).

Well, while I'd love to come down there and help you with the fins, I uh... have a thing. Yeah, that's it.
Till then, here's an idea for you of what I did on my bike. I thought it looked great and also kept me from having to sand and polish the hardest parts of the cylinders. :D
