Well, time is almost upon me....gonna be making a few changes to the MUTT bike this winter. Been collecting parts all year that should have been going on the bike, only waiting on a few more. Just hate to have the down time. Hope it all turns out well.

When the weather turns unexpectedly nice, y'all can thank me for having my bike torn down. If it gets too nice, I'll just tool around town on the wife's pink bike. Cause I'm secure like that........with a full face helmet on.

It's that time of year for sure. I just moved in a new house out in the country and now I have a nice large heated shop to work in. Now I just have to decide how much stuff I'm doing to it this winter.

Just bought a portable heater for the garage and tried it for the first time. Next thing I knew I was sweating and had to turn it off. Started frenching in a custom dynamics led turn/brake light in the new rear fender. Probably do a little more on it tomorrow, and then tear the rest of it apart for wiring and brake lines.

Just as I thought, tore the bike down this weekend and the temps rocketed up. Even had the garage doors open on Sunday. And, of course, nothing went as well as it should have. Different triple tree is causing me fits with my fork covers. You don't even want to see what I am having to do to them to make things fit. Heck, I almost cried myself. Bike is in many, many pieces. I hope to get more work in on it on Friday while I am off.

By the way, for those of you who got to ride on Sunday and torment me with the sounds of your machines passing by, you are very welcome. I am glad my sacrifice went to put smiles on your faces.

Well, bike is getting closer to completion. Just waiting for some parts to returm from the 'painter' so that I can get them on. Can't wait to take it out and find out what is wrong. No way I could get lucky enough for something to not be screwed up with as much stuff as i did to it.
