Hey guys. Does anyone know of a good custom paint place around Seattle?
I've got a black 1800 retro and am thinking some flames might be a cool change. 8)

Not too much. I wasn't sure what kind of money they want. Anything close to $500 would be cool.

A while back I was looking to do some flames on mine and Boatbuilder said he can do it. I'm postponing some things between now and spring thinking that I'm going going to be riding a new Star Raider and don't want to put too much into the bike I'm riding right now.
I'd be tempted to contact Boatbuilder. I guess he's somewhere between Shelton and Olympia. Apparently he's done it before - I think to both his and his wife's bike.

Actually PANTHER I have been doing custom paint and metal frabrication on scoots and custom cars for well over 30 years. I just choose to NOT use this board for free advertising.

Hey boatbuilder, is it all good to get references from others if you dont do the advertiseing yourself?

Im glad to hear you do this. Im hoping in the future you may be able to help me out. Word of mouth is the best advertising anyhow.

If you look at my tank I put stripes on there with vinyl. Im hoping the get them painted on.

I didnt know anyone that could do it so I was looking foreward to this thread producing a good local guy. I give all my business to owner/operators whenever I can especially since Im one myself.

Thanks for the info. Hey Boatbuilder, what would it cost to put the flames on?

boatbuilder, I'm looking for someone to do some painting on my bike too. Probably sometime next Spring or Summer. Now that the word is out and you haven't personally advertised? Either way, I'd love to see some of your work if you'd be willing to email or PM me with some pictures.
