Good Day all. While the bike is up resting I am trying to rejunivate the dart. This turn I am looking to replace the tired /6 with a 440. I prefer one that is from stock to mildly built. Im not looking tor a drag racer just something to have some fun with before I hand it over to the kids. Hope everyone is having fun and you westsiders get prepared for some Extreme weather. At least thats what us Eastiders hear. Take care everybody. Thanks for any help. Dean

YeeeHaaaa..........A 340 would sure take some weight off the front end, though......That's gonna be a fun ride. 8) The early MOPARs were my favorite! I wanted a 340 Duster when I was a kid real bad!! They were driving those off the lot and straight to the Friday Night Drags and turning High 12s and 13s....Damn!!!

Took my driving test in a '69 Charger with a 440/6-pack. It was absolutely cherried out. New tires and wheels a week before I drove it for the first time. The front tires were about a foot wide and the rear tires were even wider. You should have seen the testing instructor's face. he didn't want to get into the car at all. It was funny. Passed, no problem, even in the rain.
My first car; a '73 Chevy Vega that used a gallon of oil per tank of gas.
First 'real' car was a '73 Mach I with a 351-Cleveland.

FYI.....Don't have a clue about the Dart swap but I did a /6 to a 360 in 1/2 ton short box 4x4. Had to do bell housing, clutch and tranny cause nothin' matched up.
