Many people have no idea that we have one of the country's best football teams right here locally in Whitewater. For the third year in a row, UW-Whitewater will be playing for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP this coming saturday on ESPN. Check it out! D3 football has no scholarships and is not tainted by outrageous TV money and endless cheating scandals like D1. This is pure football for the love of the game.
ESPN saturday afternoon - Alonzo Stagg Bowl UWW vs. 9 time Champs Mount Union College.
( I am a former Warhawk player from 1991 to 1995.) FYI!
At least the title is settled on the field instead of some reporters voting decisions.

My Brother in law plays for the Racine Threat http://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/de ... s=football (http://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/default.asp?u=THREAT58&sport=football&t=c&p=home&s=football)
They really play for the fun of it, and it is the ONLY football I will watch. We go to his games and this year the dance team got my girls out there doing dancing and cheer leading. It was an awesome year. I missed Sams party this year because I was out supporting there team. It was well worth it, my wifes Brothers have only us for family, and he was really excited to have us there cheering for him.

Now your talking! A real Wisconsin team with almost all of the players from around here. Great Great Program. Thanks for reminding us Heavy.

Hey HMM,
Did you play with Bryan Pytleski?
His folks are friends of mine. Live about 4 miles from where I grew up just west of Lena, WI (actually Spruce, WI, 6 buildings and 2 taverns).
Small World!
Mike
PS I watched the UWW game here in Harvard. Many of the UWW sports are carried by a local affiliate here. Go Whitewater!

I do believe I did. Man, long time ago but wasn't he a quarterback? He wasn't in the lineman group with me, but I certainly remember the name. We had a great team but couldn't take it father. It was a shame.

Yes, it was a thing of beauty. We were good when I played, but these guys became great by imitating the very team they had to play Saturday. The Warhawks join a couple UW-LaCrosse teams in history as national Champs.
It sure feels good.
Saw you in Milwaukee yesterday Riley after the TSO concert.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is simply awesome again. Now that is music for the holidays.

HMM,
Congrats to the Warhawks, watched most of the game. The game was on regular ESPN.
Some hard hitters on the UWW team...talented kids.
Mike
Ps.
Bryan P. was a quarterback from 91 - 94
