Is anyone from the southeast Kansas area, Missouri, Ark, Ok. going to Honda Hoot in June?
I am thinking about going, never been there, but would like to ride with others that are going.
Let me know so we can start making plans.

I heard of the Honda Hoot. Where and when is the 2008 Honda Hoot scheduled anyways...if it's close maybe I could plan the road trip. 8)

Yeah, C.G., that was the Radar you know---I'm sure he wouldn't mind me answering before he did. We both met you at the meet and greet in Knoxville in '04. He was the one taking all the pics. We ran into you and your hubby again in Marysville the following year.
Remember? I've got my reservation made for the Hoot again this year, but everything is up in the air right now- don't know if I'll make it or not.
Radar gave up the VTX for a new Wing a couple summers ago.

BillHi Bill, Yes, I do remember you! Do you still have your dogs? We lost a Lab last Dec. We got another one at Christmas. This one is a Yellow Lab. She is a sweet pup!

I thought that was radar...I remember that he got a Wing! Hubby also has a Wing. He bought a 2007 last Sept, or Oct. We still have his 1800 VTX, but he would like to sell it.

At the moment, I am not sure what plans are for the HOOT. It is not too far for us to travel. Might have to put that on our to do list this summer.

I made that trip back in 2005 and found some amazing roads. Lemme know if you want to know some good ones on the way. Also, if you will be there on Saturday, the 3rd Annual BBQ will place. You can e-mail me for more info on either (since I don't get any PM notifications cause of a glitch).

Hey everyone. First time in 3 years I have the time to take in some of the Hoot. Plan on going down on Thursday the 19th and returning on Sunday the 22nd. Staying at the Holiday Inn Knoxville Central on Kirby Road.
Anyone from the greater Cincinnati area plan on going down?

I try to check in here every so often, just to see what happening in the VTX front. So hubby got a new wing huh! Smart folks think alike, hope to see you this year, from Louisville it is just a short ride down to Knoxville. In fact that is where I am writing from now. Our first grandchild was born last Friday 2/8/08. Here name is Isabella Grace Martin. So we are spending the week in Knoxville helping out the first time parents!

Nick is so thrilled with his Wing. He says each time he rides it he loves it more and more. He took me for a short ride on it. I could eaisly get used to riding on the back of it. Sure is a smooth ride. I am afraid to take her out for a ride. Would not want to get used to that sweet ride.

As of yet, we still have not made any plans for the Hoot, or any other rides. I can't get him to make up his mind. I want to go to all of the events, ie: Colorado, Homecoming, The Hoot, etc.
