Does anybody know of a good paint and panel shop here in Perth?
I gotta get my tank fixed and painted. Yes I dropped it....

Bugger!! Sorry to hear that you dropped your new bike mate. Hope it's not too serious and can be repaired easily. Is it insured? May not be worth making a claim i guess, hopefully.
Cheers,

Thanks Brian mate I was gutted, But no worries I was going to get the tank painted when I get the phat tire kit fender to get rid of the stick on flame look.
Just that they will have to do a bit of repair work before they chuck the paint on, but for now she looks a little bruised.
I managed to find a guy to fix her up.
On another subject I noticed you are using the cobra pipes did you do any comparisons before you bought them?

No... the local honda dealer had another new VTX with Cobra pipes on it that i took for a test ride. I liked the look and loved the sound, so i got them fitted to my new bike before i picked it up. I still haven't had the chance to any other VTX's with different pipes in the flesh as yet. I have heard that the Vance and Hynes pipes are really good too.
Have you ordered a phat tyre kit yet mate?? I'm interested to learn a bit more about a phat tyre kit etc.
Cheers,
Brian

No I haven't ordered it yet I'm stuck.
I just gotta decide on the wheels I want and then put the order in.
I spoke with Macca and he has put me right on most everything else, which has made it a lot easier for me.

yeah guyivan, "we" had some furniture stacked in the garage, much to my VERY STRONG argument to the contrary, SWMBO (aka SWIAR - She Who Is Always Right) told me that this is the way it would be... sure enough, one of the effing chairs fell in the middle of the night. I'm surprised that you didn't hear me swearing from your place. not happy Jan!!!
luckily she treats me like a king 99% of the time so I suppose I shouldn't complain too much.
