WELCOME DN/SD VTXers.
Grew up in Havey, anyone ever hear of that little town? Haven't been back for some time, however last year I did take a VTX road trip to Grand Forks and Fargo. Just roll on 29 North out of Omaha and don't stop until your front tire hits snow(: Forgot how Flat that part of the state is, just great people and cold beer what else is there? The X did good 650 miles one way and only stopped for gas, food and a few cig breaks. The hardest part of the whole trip was getting the bugs off(: when I got back home.
Good luck and if you get close to Omaha give a e mail, there is some cures in this corn state that are fun to ride.

1000 times? Did you take the bypass around Harvey? The closer you get to Minot the more fun it gets. I think the ride from Minot to Bismarck might be interesting, however the ride from Bismarck to Fargo would flat land wind surfing. My ND friends tell me south western ND can be fun too.
Do you get over to DL in MN there could be some nice riding over there! And north east of Grand Forks on MN side could be some nice riding also, just watch out for the moose.
If you all need a spring break, head south end of March first part of April on 29 at Sioux Falls your run into the Losse Hills, great riding and end up in Council Bluffs, Ia for the nigh at one of the casinos. You could do it in a weekend or a long weekend. I Bet we could get some NE VTXers to meet up in SF and guide through the hills, would be fun!!

Hey 2rangerted, Loess hils ride is great, we do it a couple times a year also, take 29 up tp SC, IA and the back roads to CB. You need to try the Horseshoe next time, super buffetts. Maybe we could get the Dakota VTXers, MN Xers, IA Xers and NE Xers together for a Spring ride south!

We LOVE the Horseshoe. Great nice place. Been their several times, love the poker room and the great food, Whiskey Roadhouse can be fun also. Slots seem to be very tight though.

ND is also my old home state. I call Indiana home now. I'm originally from Lakota and am a UND grad. I am going back this coming July for a family reunion and plan on riding the X while the family follows in the family truckster. I want to spend a couple of days riding around the state while I am there ---- anyone got any good ideas of where to go and what roads to take that would be a day out and a day back. Thanks.
