Speaking of pics...well sort of. :D
Circuit City has a Panasonic Lumix LZ7 cam on sale for $149. Very good cam for the money and upto a 9x optical zoom plus digital zoom for a total of 36x but pics with that much zoom look like hell.
I got one this friday and like it much better than my Canon A560. You wont find a cam with as many features for under $200 and it takes 848x480 wide screen video. Videos are in QuickTime (MOV) format too.
Great camera that still fits in a jacket pocket and has close to SLR cam features without the added bulk. Its slightly smaller than the Canon A560 too.
I stopped along the river road sunday several times to take pics of the eagles and ice flows. Sure wish i was down there instead though :lol:

So far I have logged 1250 miles on it. The trailer is very light weight as in 70 pounds empty so pulling it loaded kinda keeps things normal feeling. Not a ton of room, but plenty for one person to go out for 10 days or so................................
The best part is this.....................the trailer is narrow enough to fit through any standard door way which means you can bring it into any motel/hotel room with you. As I did during the Florida ride. Very convenient. Off the bike in seconds and bingo your done.

Ed, if you dont understand, then you must make a phone call to Uncle Donnie and have him explain it all to you. It has everything to do with planetary alignment and the ability to understand Cajun Mojo............LOL.

Show, Great Pics!! The trailer looks good. Is it stable when you are in to the triple digits? Just kidding. Did you ride down to FL? You are getting in to this LD riding thing I see.
Looks like you had a blast. The worst part of long rides for me is the end, and then the next few days. Just can't wait to get going again.

Jeff, good to hear from you again. No, I did not ride to Florida, I trailered it to Eustis which is north or Orlando. From there, I managed to log 1250 miles over a few days. Ran down to the Keys, then back across the southern end of Florida to the Gulf coast. Traveled up the Gulf side almost up to the pan handle, then back into the center of the state.....................
Yea, I do like the long rides, but it would have been more fun to do with someone else as opposed to doing it alone...........................

I'm jealous. Thats exactly the type of ride I am trying to get together. I really want to ride the coast from the southern part of Florida up to S. Carolina. Its just hard to find people to do it. But I bet it would be a great ride. I also want to ride out west through S. Dakota, Grand Canyon, Colorado, and the Smokies in Tenn. Thats alot of riding, so I hope to start this Spring with the Tenn. ride. Anyone else interested in any of these?

Pete;
I am leaving the last two weeks of May for Yellowstone, down to Valley of Fire in Utah, over to Arches National Park, coming home thru Colorado and ??%%#$#Kansas.
I will stop at North rim of Canyon as I have been to the South rim several times. Beautiful country.
Out to Sturgis in August for a week.
PS. I get 5 weeks vac.

Must be nice to have 5 weeks. I only have 3 at this point but in a few more years I'll be up there with you. Sounds like a good ride though, wish I could go. I took one week off at the end of May and I'm going to try to plan something a little shorter.
