10 days you can circle the USA and have time to spare for sightseeing. About 7,000 mile circle that’s only about 700 miles a day or 12 hours of slow riding.
Too much? Then try going over and catching Route 66 and follow it to the California Coast. About 5,000 miles round trip for you from home and back, and only 500 miles a day or about 8 – 10 hours of riding. Takes me about 16 hours of daily riding to cover 500 miles with stops and pictures and stuff.
Still too much? Ok then go south through Kentucky, Tennessee, and over to Missouri. Head back up towards Chicago and back home on 12 through Michigan out of Michigan City Indiana. Stay off the freeways for sightseeing and do about 2,400 round trip or 240 miles a day. Less then 5 hours of riding each day.

some good ideas, i have to keep in mind i will have the ole lady on the back..so i am thinking 300 to 500miles a day with stops..whats a good way to get non interstate roads to plan the trip? i dont care about hotels, i will either stay at roadside places or camp grounds..try to do any eating at gas stops, and just eat dinner out at the end of the day.

That's funny! You are asking the question and I'm trying to get enough people down here to go to Poconos. ( I'm from Bethlehem ).
Anyway; From Brethlehem to S. FL. it takes about 1225 miles, that means that from Poconos You will stay on the 1500 miles range.
Florida is not just Miami and Orlando, and by the way about a month after Daytona there is a bikefest in Leesburg ( On the map it's just West of Daytona and a bit North of Orlando ). To myself and other "Floridians" it's better then Daytona ( quieter), So You can ride South, hit Leesburg and Orlando ( There is a guy there called Mickey mouse), and if decide go till South Beach ( Miami ) for a Cuban cofee.
I met a Guy ( on a BMW ) from Lancaster that went to Washington DC, had the bike on the train , arrived in Orlando ( close by ) and after riding around was going to ride back all the way to PA. He told me that He did the train "thing" just to gain some time to his way back.
Think about!

MS Streets & Trips software. Under $30 at Costco. Under preferred routes just tell it you don't like interstates. That easy. Seems to be quite accurate too.
