I soon intend to find out about Champion in Oakland which is way west Orange county. I live on the east side of Orlando, bought my 1800 from them about 250 miles ago.

I even have an insider at Cycle Riders but won't go there for sales or service, just don't like the attitude.

I bought mine from Performance Honda on W Hwy 50 just West of Winter Garden. It's been just under a year and just over 10,000 miles and they have done all the service on it. They've always treated me right and they sell and service nothing but Honda. Ask for Molly.

:? Man am I stupid! I too bought my 1800 at Performance, not Champion. I know there's a Champion Yamaha(?) out there too and for some reason I have Champion Day Camp on the brain and between the 2 of these when I meant to type Performance, I typed Champion instead. D'oh!

Anyhow, I agree so far with HairOnFire, I've been treated right and feel I've gotten a fair deal so far on accessories, etc. Haven't had service yet but it's coming up soon. They gave me a really good deal on my trade, a 99 Valky Interstate, so thus far I'm happy as a clam!

Brain farts are to be expected among us X riders. It has to do with quantum mechanics and travelling so fast our thoughts can't keep up! :twisted: The good news is, when we get back to this planet we will be younger than everybody else. (good reason to take a woman on the pillion with you!)

If you take a printout of a price you got on the 'net PH will usually try to meet it.

Thanks for the input, I'm going to drop it off Wed. at Performance. 600m. came up in a hurry. Been doing mostly local 40-60m. rides until my mustang seat arrives. Really looking forward to some longer rides, and getting a better look at some of your X's.

the valks price was $8,900, I think it had a memphis color shield. I didn't really look at it much, it was raining and matt couldn't give me a bottom price so I walked... walked into space port for a 2003!
