As far as I was concerned, the Yamaha Raider was the hit of the show.
It looks even better in real life. Feels real light and well balanced and looks very strong.
Looking forward to taking it for a ride!

I liked the picture of the seat modification on picture 25. Which was followed by the picture of Carl looking like he was ready to trade in the M109 and maybe everything else he owned.

Thanks for the picture posting Jim. I didn't see anything that caught my attention too much (bike or babe).... but am curious as to what Carl was thinking in that picture with the ***** eating grin......

I had something come up & could not make it to the show on Saturday.

In my opinion, the Raider is an ugly mess of a cruiser. It may be a nice bike, but I could never get past the looks. The Victory models are all far better looking bikes.

It looks like you guys had a good time, though. Thanks for posting pics.

I had to drag Jim away from the Raiders, several times in fact. I did like the customized Raider. The smile I had on my face while sitting on the Busa was because I thought about my wife spending my insurance money after I killed myself on it. I couldn't reach the handlebars without laying dowm on the tank. The B-King would be a better choice for me.

Nothing called out my name like the Black M109R in 2006 or the Blue/White M109R LE in 2007. The Raider was the nicest new bike that I saw at this years show but it looks like I'll be keeping my VTX and LE.

Well you might not like the styling of the Raider but to call it a "Ugly Mess" is a bit of a push don't you think??
I usually reserve my opinion on a new Bike till I see it in person.
You guys did see it in person right? Tod, Brian?

You know this might be my next sled so ya better watch what ya say about her!
Remember I pack a GPS and I'm not afraid to use it!

The pipes look better, but it is still ugly. Yamaha hasn't made a good looking set of fenders yet. In this pic, it looks like an HD Softail with ugly fenders :D.

Tod,
I'm with ya..... it looks way too small and fragile and those fenders... yuk. Like my Daddy always said.... "no matter how you dress up a terd, it's still just a terd". NO... I have not seen this bike in person and have no real desire to either..... I already have two of the best bikes made....

I got to see a blue one in person at the local stealer this last week. Guys I got to agree with enroute, it's much better looking in person. John it isn't a small bike at all. It's low slung but not SMALL. I'd have to say it should handle well and not feel top heavy at all. It's got the same engine as the Roadliner and based on the one my friend has I think the Raider will be a pretty fast scoot too. Final judgement should be reserved until they are seen on the road this spring. Just my 2 cents worth.
