had a couple of phone calls this morning regarding last nite's storms and tornados in TN.

we are just fine here. did see the lighting of a tornando not far north of us, but no sirens went off in Spring Hill. everything was just north of my town.

today feels like a post hurricane weather day. kinda dry, a bit humid and a tad windy with debris scattered around.

please say a prayer for those that sustained damage and loss of life.

D - Glad you're ok. My sister is in Morris Chapel, (just north of Savannah) and they had a tornado go right down thier street, missed them by a couple hundred yards. 2 people had died in thier town, but they're ok. She works in Jackson and that town got hit HARD. Now they're looking into a shelter. At least you have plenty of warning with hurricanes.

you are correct about the advanced warning with hurricanes. but if all hurricanes packed the "wallop" that a tornando has, it wouldn't matter. ya would have to just bend over and pucker :shock:

no way Claudio - never time to move back to So. FL i could probably purchase some "discounted" real estate, but the taxes and insurances would still kill me.

my homeowner's insurance includes windstorm events (tornados/hurricanes/etc) and is still only $500 a year with a $500 deductible. kinda hard to beat pricing like that.

no matter what we have to love where we live, earthquakes/tornados and all. and i absolutely LOVE TN
