Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a delema....I'm not at all mechanically inclined and am in major need of doing the pair valve removal. I have the V&H Bigshots with no baffles and the damn thing backfires HARDCORE on the decel. I have the blank off plates ordered, as well as everything else I need EXCEPT the know how! I was curious if anyone in or around Sioux Falls would be willing to help me with this mod? If any of you guys find yourself with some extra time some afternoon and like to drink beer, It'd be great to hang out and learn a bit more about how my bike is put together. If a case of beer isn't your thing, I'm sure we could work somthing out. I just really want to get this done before riding season!

Thanks,
~Jason

This is such a small town for such a big town!!

OH,and as far as helping, get your stuff in and between a couple of us,we should have the knowledge to put it together.(I don't drink and ride...but I'll help just for the helping part of it.)

Hey, I could help also, I have a 30x40 heated shop with all the tools we need. Never done it before, my bike already was desmogged when I got it, but it doesnt look hard at all, print some helps from bare and tapper and those guys off of the vtx garage site.

Problem is my shop is FULL right now, trying to get a bunch of winter projects wrapped up, after a week or 2 it should just be my bike and the camper inside. Friggen snowed last nite again anyway, I hate this winter in this frozen tundra.

Hey 2rangerted - you guys still live in the SW part of SF?

Hey Jason,

just remember if you take it over to somebody's place, let it cool down before you go playing on top of the engine

i recommend a two beer minimum waiting period :beer3:

2rangerted - Tea huh? In town or outside? Good excuse for me to cruise to tea some day. I havent even had mine started yet this year. I would have ridden it a couple times but my gravel/dirt driveway was way muddy! I got bored and spent about 6 hours cleaning and detailing it and now its almost to clean to ride anywhere. Hopefully the weather will shape up soon. rvw
