Trial swap final drives

I'm looking for someone who owns a 1300 close to Conway that might be willing to trial swap final drives with my 1800.

I've read that there are benefits to each. If anyone is interested let me know. I have an 1800 with 17k. This is just a trial.

Or someone that has a 1300 for sale that might let you swap on a test basis. Maybe someone that has a 1300 that they haven't ridden much because they have the 1300 and a Harley Ultra Classic? Don

Don, I hear ya. I just put the 1300 in the newspaper today. I better wait and see what happens with it over the next week or so before I start taking it apart.

My sister-in-law has a 1300, could be I can talk to her and see if she would loan hers out. The good part is that it is a 15 min. swap. Gary, did you pull off any of the add-on's? I have some work to do in San Antonio, but am looking to ride next weekend. Don

Gary, Wasn't looking at touching your PERFECT machine, plus your final drive on my bike would look so out of place since it shines like a diamond in a goats azz. I need to show Laura that rear bag you have and see if she is interested in it, I believe she'll take it and put some of her little nick nacks it it when we go riding.

Don, Let me know if Gwen (sp) is interested. I'm really curious to see how each bike would perform after the swap. Just to let you know that my final drive oil has been changed every 6k miles.

I put a 1800 on mine and have my 1300 in a box if you would like to try it. Searcy is not to far from ya and I can help you to install it if you want to.

My bad, I have been thinking it over more since I decided I wanted chrome or aftermarket wheels. If he dicides he is not interested you are welcome if you chose.

Let Ray have it, I just had 3 vehicles, 1 motorcycle and 1 RV insurance dues show up in my mailbox, and my wife and I pay it all off at once. Plus I have to go see the judge bout the visit the Leo and I had last week. :evil:
