Northeast Tennessee Riders?

I have been away from this board for awhile (no, not prison) and just found out that I will be relocating to the Johnson City, Tennessee area...I should be up there around mid-August.
Any riders in that area? I know it's beautiful country and my wife and I are really looking forward to the move. Let me know if anyone is interested in planning a ride.

I posted a few days ago and have received no responses. My wife and I drove (yeah, not rode) up to Johnson City on Sunday and it is a beautiful area. We passed a local hangout (Kimosabe's) and spotted several bikes in the lot. I wanted to stop, but was reminded that we were looking at HOUSES...not bikes.
Oh, well.
Maybe I will run into some of you in a few weeks...or, more than likely, blow right by you!!!

I moved to Oak Ridge a little while back and have not yet found the time or people to check out much of the country side with. Let me know if you want to ride in the area. Johnson City is not exactly backdoor - but it is close enough to be part of East TN.

I used to get to spend summers with my grandparents in Happy Valley. It is between Johnson City and Elizabethton. I love the country up there. I was wondering if the covered bridge is still up in Elizabethton and if so do they let you drive accross it? Thanks Richard
