I have done this ride 2 out of the last 3 years and it was a blast each time. These people are really top notch and it's for a great cause, too!

Law Enforcement Memorial Bike Ride -

The Brunswick Georgia Police Department and Georgia Blue Knights M/C, Chapter XIV is once again sponsoring this event; a fully police escorted ride from Brunswick to St. Augustine Florida. The last year held there were 300 motorcycles that participated in this very enjoyable, somewhat laid back ride, on mostly country roads. The ride takes place on Saturday, May 24th at 1000 hrs leaving from the Stellar Center, 125 Venture Drive. The host motel in Brunswick is also located at this address; the Quality Inn / Econo Lodge Motel. A special discounted room rate of $84.00 (includes tax) is being offered on limited number of rooms for May 23rd and 24th. The special room rate will return to regular rates if not reserved by May 19th, 2008

A discounted room rate of $89.00 plus tax is being offered on a limited number of rooms for the nights of the 24th and 25th. Don’t delay, reserve your room today! The special room rate will return to regular rates if not reserved by April 30th, 2008.



An activities night (May 23rd) at the Stellar Center in Brunswick will include live music, food, drinks, bike show, games, and much more.



The cost of the ride is $20.00 per bike, one or two up. Event t-shirts will be on sale.



Proceeds from this event benefit the surviving families of officers killed in the line of duty.
