Well my boss asked to see me like 5 min before end of work. He said I made a comment to the new girl about when I was sick. I am still ticked about that. Then something about talking to the new girl about a comment I made that I was joking and she knew it. Then about how we talked about how much we made. The manager heard me ask her, she asked me first. I told them she asked me first. I knew they were going to accuse me of lying so I sure as he** wasn't going to sit there and have him accuse me of lying again when I was NOT lying. And since it was now after 5pm I got up to leave and told him since my husband works swing shift I have to get home to my girls. So I went to shut off my computer and started to get ready to walk out the door. He asked me if I had my stuff and if I was going to walk out on him I was gone for good. So I got my stuff and left. The new girl waited for me to meet up so I could tell her what happened.
so now I hope I can find a better job quick enough so I can keep my motorcycle. If things get bad that would be the first to go. Thank GOD we finally sold my car.
so anyone know anyone hiring???

Sorry you had to go through that.
Sounds like you should be able to collect unemplpyment untill you find something new.
I don't know what your skills are but you might want to check the school district or the city. They seem to always be looking for people.
Good luck

Might give Costco a try. Decent starting wage and may be some openings at the Marysville store.
No doubt you will be better off where ever you go.

I know the first time I looked into it I thought it was like $10. But if its $11.50 that wouldn't be that much less than what I am making right now. but still less than what I made at my other job. Boy not sure about the weekend working though. Been a long time since I have had to do that. BUt I do know I do NOT want to work for a small company again. I will most likely put my application in.

Applications are done on line. Not a bad idea to follow up with a trip to the store and ask to speak to HR. Don't want to be a pest but showing interest helps.

OH man so I am filling out the application for costco. Don't really have much experience with being fired. so it asks if they can contact employer. HM not sure if I should say yes or no. Not sure what they will say if they call them. Man this sucks.

I dont think so. Now that I think about there were a couple meetings and the one gal I work with was in there as well. He even had notes in his hands that someone signed saying what they overheard. I haven't even had a chance to tell my husband yet. He hasn't called home from work and I can't get ahold of him. Guess i will stay up later than usual and wait for him. boy will he be surprised to see me up.

Monica,
Sorry you're having such a rough time. Email me your resume, maybe I can pass it around to others. I don't know of many things in the Arlington area, but anything to get your name out there can't hurt.

THANKS everyone. Really appriciate all the great comments and advice. I did talk to someone this morning from Worksource and she was a big help. I had gotten her name from a friend of mine i worked with at the car dealership. I just applied for unemployment.
Still need to give a call to Bev.
I took a really nice L O N G hot shower this morning. wow it felt good to sleep in until 7am. I would have slept in longer but i had to take jessica to band practice this morning and pick up her friend as well.
OH the sun just came out. Come on sunshine!!!!!!
