I will be in the Yakima area. Going to go over and see my parents and take the girls over there so they can spend spring break over there.

Rowland. I hate Mondays and I hate mornings, so this might just be a good option. I'm gonna keep my eye on this as I've been feeling the need to ride (theraputic ya know). It might be the attitude adjustment I've been needing.

I have to work, but if no one has tried the Resturant at the Bremerton Air Port, you've missing a best kept secret. Wonderful food and full wall window view of the airfield.... It's worth the drive and 3$$ bridge toll for a meal.

I'm still keeping my eye on this one. Yup - I'm waffling a little - thinking I wanna ride, but also thinking about warmer weather. Had snow yesterday, last night & again this morning. Bleah! Doesn't feel like spring or summer yet.
Next year I'm just going to go to sleep about Thanksgiving evening and ask Karen to wake me up about April 1st. MMMMMmmmm hibernation - LOL

Let's say that there are a few on the board that will be glad to bank roll this one  .....but then during the winter they will miss the "Good Nite" threads.

Come On Pink stop your waffling and get pink in gear and come over here to ride. I will be 48 and partly sunny. Come to think of it most of the nasty weather in on your side of the pond. Its been mostly sunny here most of the winter. I had a new tire put on the X 2 weeks ago and today when I went in for the other tire the mechanic commented that I had 1000 already on the tire he installed. Yup, We like to ride.
Todd You don't have an excuse either. Kathy and I rode to Spanaway just for the meet up to ride to St. Helens. We even turned off the Gerbing most of the trip. 8)
I went for a ride today and passed several Harleys. They bundle up, but they are still riding. :mcrider:

Well, I just checked the forecast & they're not predicting 55 degrees, but I can live with 'partially cloudy'. I'm in. I have something I need to take care of in the morning. Did you have a particular time in mind?
Todd - we can coordinate on this if you decide to go.
Any other takers?
I'll put in for a day of vacation in a minute.
Would be nice to see some of the usual suspects on this one.

Really coming down here, too, but it's really wet and not sticking. Too cold and windy out to ride today. This kinda weather really makes me want to just curl up and hibernate. Wake me up when it's time to ride.

Depending from where your comming from there are quick ways to get here:
From Everett take the Ferry to Kinston
From Seattle take the Ferry to BainBridge Island
From Tacoma take the Tacoma Narrows Bridge
From Olympia come thru Shelton or down 101 and up thru Union and Befair
I think from Olympia it may be shorter taking hwy 3 thru Shelton?

The weather on the Canal is still nice. No Snow and atleast partly sunny. I went for a ride to Spanaway for Mod Day at Matts Sat. March 29th and it was raining and snowing heavily. I was pretty nervous about the weather conditions. WHen I passed Olympia to hwy 101 it was nice with sun breaks. Thought about putting on the sunglasses. Riding down the Canal it was Nice. No Rain or Snow. You guys on the other side of the pond get all the bad weather. It only snow once on the Canal a couple of days ago otherwise it's been mostly sunny with some rain.
Mondays ride should be pretty decent maybe a little chilly in the morning.
Cheers,
Rowland

Wow! Close by, plus one of my favorite local rides. Don't you people have jobs? :D
Don't forget to get you fill of shooters at the Whistling Oyster in Quilcene. (Great Chicken and Jo Jo's too!)
Have a great ride! I'm not jealous...

Hey Chromer,
As for the Jobs? Yes and I pay the price too. Kathy and I are self employed Medical Billers. We work 7 days a week basically from 6am til Midnight--Whew! So we take every opportunity to ride and then play catch up on the work. During the summer we will have to take laptop computer with us on rides and work at the same time--just not while on the bike.  Still trying to figure out how though.   Last summers riding meant 6 months of catch up work. Just in time to ride the season again! :mcrider:
The Canal is a beautiful place to ride. We ride the Canal every weekend and atleast a Coffee run to Hoodsport--45 mins. The North Shore of the Canal has some nice riding too. You will find us riding the Canal this weekend too so if you would like to ride send me a PM and lets Ride!

Got home about 7:00 & had to run a few errands. Just got back in.
Yup - it was a nice ride in spite of a little bad weather. All-in-all, it was probably 85-90% good even if the bikes did get a little dirty. At least there isn't any de-icer to contend with this itme - :D
Thanks for posting this one, Rowland.
