My 1300 retro has about an inch n a half of travel. Is this normal? It doesnt seem like it is right. I need help with this if you have had trouble this way.

I guess I would have to ask how much of a load do you have on the bike?

Just my weight. I weigh 225 and other 1300's I see have more travel than mine. How bout your bikes travel.

I'm 135 lbs and have about 3" of travel . If you stand the bike upright and bounce the front end that will settle the sag on the forks . Measure from the bottom of the fork leg to the top of the upper triple tree it should measure about 30 and a half inches . Do this with no load on the bike.
