Hi- I am a VTXOA member down in Tampa, Florida and we are holding a charity run on June 7th in Moorhead. It is to raise funds for my daughter, who recently received a liver transplant.
I am riding up from Tampa, Florida to join in the ride, and I would love to see a bunch of X'ers there- but any bike is welcome.
Please PM me or drop an email to Ozzie Peraza (see below) if you want to help set up or run the event. I also have a flyer I can send you if you can talk to any shops/ stores/ dealers that will post the flyer so more people will know about it.
The funds will go into a trust account, to be used for her future medical care. This trust account is set up as a 501(c)(3) organization, and is managed by a trustee and overseen by a national charitable organization (COTA) so you can be assured that the monies raised are going towards her medical expenses.
Media will be covering this ride & sharing the story of our Savannah and the efforts of all involved in sponsoring, riding, and donating towards this special and necessary event.
