I have been talking to a couple people about wanting to do the 4 Corners Ride next year. I have found that there is a lot of interest in doing this providing that enough time is given to plan the ride IN ADVANCE. Some have suggested New Mexico as the end point and Los Vagas as an end point. Outside of Vagas there is a Major Major Bikers Rally and I believe there is a major Rally in New Mexico.
This ride is going to be a Certainty for me so I am now posting it. The proposed ride I am told should be in April/May at the latest because of the heat. I'm told that hotel reservations need to be booked by September, to wait any longer they may be booked up. This ride will basically retrace the route that was done in 07: Riding the Hogs Back, Zion, Arches, etc.
For those that are Seriously Interested and have the Flexibility in the jobs to permit a trip like this are welcome to come. This ride is open for 2-Ups and Singles. For those that would like to come need to know that riding speeds will likely be 70-80 mph with slow downs in the curves. In my younger years I have gone down more times than I can count always in the curves at high speeds so I am a cautious rider in curves and Dusk/Dawn Riding as some riders already know.
This will be a small group ride riding in pairs. Interested? Post Comments and Details of what you would like to do and see. Then this thread will split to a new thread for Planing-- for those attending the ride.
Cheers,
Rowland
