My uncle and I got ambitious this weekend and made a custom luggage rack for my Cobra backrest. We made it out of aluminum and it looks pretty good. I was going to try an polish it, but them I thought it would look really good chrome. Is there anyone in Lincoln who does chrome plating so I can see what it would cost? If it's too much I won't worry about it, but it would look really cool chromed.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

In Lincoln we have one of the best chromers in the country, they chrome for HD and Big Dog... it's Lincoln Plating, but they won't plate small jobs. :x

VTXRAIDER had some work done by Randye Chickinell

VTXRAIDERJust wanted to let everyone here know...

Randye Chickinell at Industrial Plating, Inc. in Omaha does great chrome work. I got my tree clamps done. After tax, it was $101 total. It took 2 weeks, but I think they were really busy. The actual job only took 3 days. Without me even specifying, he left the interior of the stem hole and the fork tube holes unchromed. (made it so much easier to put back together) I think the job was top notch. They do anodizing, gold plating, powdercoating, etc.

I guess he even does chroming work for St. Joe HD down in Missouri. He said that he traveld down there about every other week to pick up custom work.

I will go to him for any future plating needs.

I'm wanting to have some stuff chromed next winter. Keep us posted.

Thanks guys. May have to give them a call. I thought of Lincoln Platting right away, but didn't think they would do 1 piece.
