View Full Version : What's next?
So is there any plans for a local ride developing? Any one have a place or party they would like to attend and give us an excuse to get hang out an ride?
Easy Rider Chillicothe isn't until Sept, but I definatey want ride out to that one. There's also a Easy Rider show in Butler at the end of the month.
Tatman, Maybe you don't want to ride to the homecoming, but how about heading to Butler for the day?
Jeff,
What days are the Easy Rider show? I think that would be a good time! Let me know and we will see what we can do.

Hey Guys,
The Carlisle Summer Bike Fest is the weekend of July 23-25. I'll be going, probably just for the day on Saturday.

Jerry said he went to the Butler Easy Rider Show last years, $25 each and it sucked.

Hi Gus.
When I see you on the 10th (you are going to Trappe, aren't you?), let's talk more about Carlisle.

Steve,
If I survive the Maryland 2-day trip with Ragman, I should make the Trappe get-together. However, that is a very big IF.
I would be glad to have you along for Carlisle. A Gold Wing buddy of mine is also going.

Hey, I just got back from a 350 mile ride today. Left at 6:00 AM for Virginia with Pat riding 2-up to visit my mother-in-law. Got back just a little after 7 PM. 7 Hours riding, 6 hours visiting my mother-in-law....well, at least SEVEN hours of today were great!
You and Ragman are only going to Soloman's Island (I used to go there by water when I had my boat). Shorter ride, so making Trappe should be NO PROBLEM!
(Ragman, that Mustang seat is GREAT! No butt-rash!)

Steve,
Sounds like you had a great ride to VA. Glad the Mustang was good for yall. How did Pat make out on the ride?
Solomans is about 170 miles for Keith. We plan to spend some time in Annapolis on the way down and maybe go over to Stoneys (sic) on Broomes Island fo crab cakes. We plan to have two relaxing days. We will probably go down 213 to 301 and take 50 over to Annapolis then 4 down to Solomons. If you know a better way down or other stops, let us know. The trip back is up in the air. Keith mentioned coming back on the eastern side.

Hi John & Steve!
I love my Mustang seat! Sounds like you had a nice trip, Steve. Too bad about your visit!
I was out your way yesterday afternoon. I thought about calling. Beautiful day for riding! What time does the Aloha Cafe open?
I'm really looking forward to Thursday!

Capt,
The aloha cafe should be open by the time we meet on Thursday. Do you want to meet there?

John,
Sure! That sounds good. It's right next to the DQ, anyway. I don't know if I'll eat. But, I can always use another cup of coffee.

The Mustang seat is GREAT. My rear end felt like it was in my easy chair, no kidding. The stock seat would have left me with a sore center area, but not the Mustang. Pat said the seat was very comfortable, but she developed a small vinyl rub area on the side of one of her cheeks. I even had a gel pad on the seat, so that proves it's not due to comfort, it's due to the skin not being able to breathe thru the vinyl seat. I'm gonna sew up a black fake sheepshin cover and only put it on her seat on long trips. I'm sure that will allow her skin to breathe and eliminate the vinyl sore.
I cudda rode another 4-5 hours, no kidding.
Hey you guys have a great 2-day ride. Watch out for those DC area drivers. Annapolis has more and more of them lately. Ride safe and come back happy!
