Well our first meeting was a Big success. We did have 5 riders show up and hope to have many more on our next meeting. For those of you who know me as Jeffrey Barganier I am now Smooth X, so dont be confused.
What do you say we meet Tuesday night 6:00 p.m. at the Waffle House on Exit 44 accross from the Harley shop, unless there is a better location. Hooters was ok but too loud to actually talk and get to know each other.

Hey Jeff. Ty Stork, here. I'm just checking in and to let everybody know my name in case they forgot it. Right now Tues looks good for me.

I'll make this one. Working Midnights plays hell with my sleep schedule. That's why I missed the meeting at Hooters.

Skammer, where do you work? I work at Mississippi Power Plant Daniel in Escatawpa. I'm in Operations and I work 12hr swing shifts so I know where you are coming from. It may be best to use a different weekday each week to meet up, since you, Jeff, Darryl, and myself work about the same schedule.

Hay Smooth-X how about killing the other two Gulf Coast Rides sites it is staring to confuse an old man like me I never know which one to post or look at. Now as for the meeting day is there any night during the week that all of you swing shift workers have off the same night every week. If so, we can change to that night. Being retired it does not make any difference to me as to when or where we meet. I go 150 miles back and forth to New Orleans just for the ride and fellowship and to see all the other Xs. I think the Southern Cruisers try to have a ride every weekend that we could team up with on Saturdays there a good bunch that dont care what you ride as long as you ride

Great to meet all of you all. Yea Hooters was very loud and the weather sucked Let do it again.
With me being a single parent I will only be able to come when my 14 year olds sports let me. I have open time till school starts then it is hit and miss. you all pick a day and time and place . My suggestion is to pick a dayand time then move the place around ,like one time at The Kiln area ,one time Ocean Springs ETC. And lets do a weekend ride like Pensacola or N.O I know BamaX and the alabama bunch will ride and you can get the L.A boys , The Fla Panhandle. Year before last Wilbur (KingCobra) and I got a group together and meet in Pensacola and went for a ride. Let me know
Ps SmoothX give me a call and lets see about getting that chunk polished.
Pss Big X I need to get with you and rent that fork tool.

Well Big X there is not a single night every week that all of us swing shift workers will have off. But that is no problem, we will just make the meetings as we can. So for this week lets come up with a day and time and who ever can make it will make it. Any suggestions?

BP-
Good idea on moving things around. We've got logistical problems being spread out down here that is making getting together a challlenge.

It looks like our "Gulf Coast X Riders" is realistically only working with riders from Jackson Co MS and Mobile Co AL. I don't blame those of you that are West of Jackson Co and also East of Mobile Co for not showing up. Seems some of you need to take this by the balls and form 2 more groups to better suit the distance (mileage) gap. Its up to the rest of you to do it though. We have proved its possible, as we have already got our "South Central" Chapter up and running.

Hmmm...seems like if we do it the way you're suggesting we'll have three pretty small groups though.

Probably, but what else do you suggest since no one East of Mobile Co or West of Jackson Co have showed up? I figured it must be the mileage gap. I can't do much else for the ones that don't show up, so I thought maybe there needed to be closer groups, etc. It really doesn't matter to me because we meet and we ride.
