Does anyone know of a place to get tires mounted if I just bring them my rim (and hopefully a tire bought from HDL)? My back tire is wearing pretty thin, and I need to give the wheel a good scrubbing anyway. Any place around Bloomington or Champaign would be great, but Decatur or even Peoria would be doable.

I had mine mounted at Burrells in Bloomington. Now it's called Twisted. It's on the southern end of Bloomington on the left side as you go in to town. If you get to McDonalds you've gone to far. Don't have the phone # on hand. Hope this helps.

I know where you're talking about. That's where I was figuring on checking out. Did you buy your tires from them or online somewhere?

I thought I might check with them on how close they would come to matching online prices, and see what they could do. I was thinking about going there to do a few dyno runs sometime just for fun anyway.

Tires were bought on-line. Took just the wheels and tires in. Don't know about price matching.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I'll let everybody know how it turns out within the next couple of weeks.

For 150 bucks and shipping I will send you a new stock tire already mounted and balanced on a new take off wheel. I also have a slighty used (about 1200 mile) tire on a black powdercoated wheel for sale both are off C's

Hey Oak, if you need tires mounted, or good prices on tires, parts, or accessories, check out Brian And Lori's in Anchor. They moved from Cropsey to their new location last year. Located by the water tower, it's easy to find. They can get about anything for a bike, and they work on everything, including computer hook-up for bikes.

My son has been asked to work there part-time this summer. That might be cool.

Thanks Stycks. I'll probably give them a call first. Should be about due in another month. Sooner if I'm lucky and get a lot of riding days in.
