Saw a post by Scott Short (Poteau) on the Rides, Trips and Events Board about a run Sunday, July 11th up the Pig Trail. Anyone going?

State highway 23, Ozark to Eureka Springsgoing from Ozark south on 23 down to where it hits 71 is a nice ride also but It's not called the pig trail below Ozark but its still a dang good ride just the same. I actually thought that the section of hwy 23 from Ozark to where it runs into hwy 16 was all that was called the pig trail but I've been wrong before. Later, Dave

You're right it's Ozark to Hway 16. Any way you go up there it's nice riding, with the exception of the dirt roads. Thought one day of going up 23 then across to 7 coming back might be a good ride in the fall.

grampsgive me holler when you do as that sounds right up my alley. Not the dirt roads being up my alley just that I have had some experience on some of those dirt roads up there and didn't really care for them. All I know is we were travelling down payment and ran into dirt, buddy says its only like a mile so regrettfully I continue and mile turns into at least 5. We were travelling just north of the Mulberry river and came out at Oark if that helps any.

We'll do it this fall, know what you mean about the roads turning into dirt, go around a corner and you"re in it. Have you been up Magazine Mt. lately? Hogwild and myself were up there a couple weeks ago and the road on the east side had a lot of blacktop coming up.

Have a good one, gramps

sounds good to me. I haven't been up on Magazine since it was still pretty cold out. I need to get up there more than I do seeing how close it is. Later, Dave
