Frogg Toggs at Dick's

I was shopping for some new shoes at Dick's today and noticed that they are carrying Frogg Toggs now. I picked up a set of their Raod Toad model (black). Retails for $49.99. I thought that was a pretty good price. The Pro Action suit (blue) was $39.99. I have a Pro Action suit already, but the Road Toad has reflective pin striping, pant pocket flaps, other improvements, and comes with a stuff sack. Just thought I'd pass that along for anyone looking for a set. Those were the only colors.

I got to use mine on the Blueridge Parkway last year.

Not yet, but I tend to be careful with them and take them off first chance I get once the rain stops. Here's some ideas from other owners.

"As far as melting on the pipes, the two main mods are to attach a piece of ironing board cover or denim iron patches to leg."

"Fixed the problem with an ironing board cover(metallic) and waterproof clothing glue from Wallmart. You can find small pieces of Nomex on Ebay also."

"Frogg Toggs ... a great product, and, yes, I have a hole in the right inner leg where the material hit the heat guard. It melted the first time I wore it. I bought a pair of rain gators ... problem solved. "

Well I call everywhere only one Dicks had them, the one Geo got them from but only had Med. in stock,I couldnt even order them online .....so I ebayed it, got a gray set,hope they will be here for me to try,pack,and have for the Va trip.

I got them $49.95 WITH FREE SHIPPING....BUT didnt have black in stock.

I just picked up two sets of black road toads at Dick's - Pgh Mills Mall in Tarentum. They are running low on stock but the gal I spoke with said they always get more in. 49.95...
