im starting to think you all like the rain better..lol

Well the Ny boys have not told me anything regarding riding this weekend, I feel kinda ignored actually, but Im still looking for options. Since most of ya are southbound from me, maybe I'll head down that a way, however riding up where Ant is gunna be is nice, but one hell of a ride back for others if they want to come. But hey.. whatever. still early, got all week to be indecisive about it. lol

Bio... like sheeet man.... We in NY can't plan- but the ride to Towanda would certainly put you closer to us if we ever figure what we are doing......

Youse got to come and see Wheels Roadhouse Cafe.

I've been watching that Wheels thing. Weekdays dont work for me now with the lil one. But weekends are fair game. Come closer to Fri I'll figure it all out. actually kinda leaving it up to who ever wants to ride with me. I will go with the masses type of thing. all I know is, nice sunday, no work monday, already told the Mrs not to wait up for me

I just got a pass from the hall monitor, that would be my wife.

Where to? How far is Rt 6 from, say Allentown? I would like to do a ride there maybe. Somebody said Hot Dog Johnnies. I've never been there. Someone said yardley/new Hope. I live near there not really interested but, would consider if I can't persuade otherwise.
I want to see some scenery not just the super slab. JMHO.

Where to? How far is Rt 6 from, say Allentown?

pretty far..lol Id say 1 1/2 to shot up the NE extension to pick it up in Clarks summit. then the thing goes all the way west ohio. Clark's Summit to where Ant is would be a decent little haul in and of itself. abut an hour. then who knows from there. but.. not saying to discourage.
Could be a cool ride but a hell of a trek home for you boyz down south. Depending on things, and Route taken, I could do food at my house on the return trip. Burgers Dogs, etc... (if the Wife Says OK...lol)

Somebody said Hot Dog Johnnies. I've never been there. Someone said yardley/new Hope. I live near there not really interested but, would consider if I can't persuade otherwise. But I don't..lol

My other thought, since theres more of you guys below Allentown was to shot south. Maybe have some breakfast somewhere depending on who' s into riding. can find someplace kinda central then head west over towards Jersey and take 29 north cross back to PA 611N to 46 then get a hot dog. That would pretty much have us riding along the deleware for quite a while. Can also stay in PA and ride up 32 to 611. same but different.

From ,For example, Doylestown, traveling over to Washington's crossing, then heading north it would be about an 80 mile ride to Hot Dog Johnny's depending on route a little, can be less if we do more direst, but this would keep it primarily to more scenic roads. .

or....

add your own idea here.

and ditto on No major Highway time. Personally I kinda wanna stay north. but thats me being a little selfish and staying a bit closer to home. But If there's a group that wants to head into the mountains. Im more then happy to get us lost somewhere.

someone asked about rt 6....well when i lived in havertown, right off the blue route, it took me 3 hours if i really moved to get to towanda that is rt in bradford county...nice ride, 29 to 6 in tunkhannock...that was 2 hours to there, then another 45 mins west on 6 to towanda...it is a great ride, and theres other ways to get to 6...like 187 or 87 i think then take 6 back..take the turn bike to the wilksbarre exit, 115 to 309 to 29...its a nice ride, and alot of nice little towns...you could stop at my place near towanda, get some food and drink and head back if you want to come up....something different

Sunday I'm Free!! Yeah I'm up for Hotdog Johnny's We could meet there & do the 29 thing bio was talking about.I' don't mind getting home later, but not up for the rt. 6 thing this week, too long of a ride for one day here. Back roads are where I'm at; after the PA/NJ turnpike thing last week . All I'm looking for is a lack of R*IN. I've seen enough of that for the rest of the riding season
Maybe then after HDJ's we could ride the upper part of the river........I really want to ride w/ "the guys" as many as possible. 8)  .
I'll suggest we meet at HDJ say 11:00am. Then you northern guys can lead all from there.
Hoping everyone is agreeable...........Peace....... Peteo

4. Screw you guys. head north and meet up with the NY crew to just had back south to Quaker Steak and Lube..or not
5. Screw you guys head north along Rt 6 to Wellsboro and See PA Grand Canyon. I want to do this, but would be really nice to have a group. This would be a full day thing though that might take batter planning

I took NE extension doen to Blue Bell to meet the boys, then Ghost lead up over to 611 which we took north up to easton and beyond, then a bit more we cut over to Jersey, I cant even say what road it was, I let the GPS tell me the way . then 46 to HDJ. then we followed Ron back to PA up 611 more and some other roads that hugged the river up to the visitors center by RT 80. Nice and twisty too. THEN WE HAD AN ARGUMENT WITH MY GPS. Till I finally found 209 which we took to Jim Thorpe. and all split from there.. I think thats most of it

If we didnt cut it a little short last time, and I had looked a little closer at the map, we would have continued along 209 up to milford. Then over 6 to the paulpack, then cut South to bring the boyz home.

That would have made ti a hell of along day. Maybe save that one for a few more weeks , get a bigger gang. together...
