RI ride Wednesday night

On Wednesday night we'll be riding from Westerly to the Denny's Restaurant in Coventry, RI for their Cruise Night, we'll get something to eat, check out the cars, (last week there were about 100 of them), then head to the Sea Wall in Narragansett for Ice Cream, check out the bikes there and then return to Westerly.

If you are interested in joining us, let me know and we'll work out the details.

Where do you meet in Westerly and at what time????

We will be at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Dunns Corners, Westerly at about 5:15pm for a 5:30pm departure, (looking at the Wal-Mart Store we will be to the far left in the parking lot . We will travel up Route 91 through Hopkinton to Route 3 and travel to Coventry, RI, take Division Road to New London Turnpike to the Denny's.

Meet and greet any other X Riders that may meet us there, get something to eat, check out the cars on display, then travel to the Sea Wall in Narragansett. We'll enjoy the view and check out other bikes at the wall get some ice cream and then travel Route 1 back to Dunns Corners in Westerly, arrival in Westerly should be around 8:45-9:00pm.

Bring a passenger and as many other bikes as you like, any brand, it's all good.

If you see or hear from CTVTX (Lloyd), ask him to join us, I believe he works weekends and does not get many chances to ride with others during the week.

Do you know the directions to Dunns Corners from I95? Or at least what route is this Walmart on? I think Walmart should be an obvious sight :lol: I would like to make it there :D :D

From I 95 North you would take Exit 92, (I believe it is 92, it's the same Exit that you would take to Foxwoods), at the end of the ramp take a right onto Route 2. Go through 2 traffic lights and just before the third light take a right onto Route 78 towards Westerly. Follow Route 78 to the first traffic light which is at Route 1, go left on Route 1 to the first traffic light which is at Dunns Corners, take a left, there will be a Benny's store on your right and the Wal-Mart entrance is right after Benny's.

Sorry but I forgot about one traffic light. At the end of Route 78 when you take the left onto Route 1, you go through the first light then Dunns Corners will be at the second light.

Looks like Ill make it to Wal-Mart to meet and greet but wont be able to do the ride. Something usually comes up at the last min.
