So yesterday around 4ish, I was attempting to get the bike home from my fiance's house when a little rain broke out...No big deal, so I continued home, and the rain stopped. Still being cautious as the roads were wet, I figured, I got this no problem....All of a sudden a car in the right lane cuts me off, and then slams his brakes to make a left turn...Now with the road being wet..I tried to stop, the backend of the bike started to come around on me, so I pulled it the other way so the bike went down opposite side of my HK3's lol....I slide for a good ways and braced for impact with the back of this tan Chevy Malibu, and it never came....I stopped a few feet from it.....A ton of people stopped to make sure I was ok, the guy right behind me jumped out of his car and ran to the Malibu, but they took off...Overall I was surprised by the amount of people that actually stopped...
I walked away from it....the damage to the bike is my left Boss Bag has a battle scar, no paint, no body, no frame damage.....I know I am very lucky, and I have to say, I am glad that I was able to take the bike down in a somewhat of a controlled manner, even if it wasn't planned..it was definately a better option than going sideways into the back of the car....
