Question for someone with more intelligence than myself. Bought the stebel horn and the pepsx bracket for it. After 2 hours of placing it in different places, including the one it is supposed to be in, under the swingarm. I have come to the conclusion, that either:
1) I am an idiot
2) It does not fit, and I need to find somewhere else to put it.
Anybody have any suggestions?

just says Stebel Nautilus Chromed. I think I found a way to do it. BAK has a valve reed block off kit, then put it under the tank.

seems like in different post most the people that did the swingarm mount had to
modify the bracket to make it work.
this is some 1800F guys discussing the mount

this guy that mounted his on his frame or crash bar
I mounted my chromed Stebel to my engine guard (crash bar) instead of the swing arm  .
It gets the horn out where all can enjoy the pleasant tone  .
Hope it helps.
I didn’t want to mount my horn (chrome compact version) in front of my rear tire or drill any holes in the bike. If you have an engine guard, this is a simple mount for the Stebel horn. Just a short piece of 1/8” x 1” mild steel with a couple of holes in the mild steel (about $2 at Home Depot or Lowe’s). Add a couple of chrome quick clamps with one around the frame down tube and the other around the bottom of the engine guard tube.
I wrapped a piece of bicycle inner tube around the bike frame under the clamp for no scratches  .
Painted the steel black.

No matter what method you use, use a good relay on a fused hot wire directly from the battery. I used 14 gauge wire with a 20 amp miniature blade fuse if I remember correctly. I left the old horn in service and fire the relay coil using power from connections to the old horn terminals  .
I used a 12 volt 30 amp automotive relay from Radio Shack. Only used theirs because most all their stores stock them if one goes south  .
Be sure to use totally insulated connectors on the relay terminals so nothing shorts out if they touch a ground.

i like the 80 series that looks like it would plug up and mount right on existing mount.
