July Cassoday ride?

Who is going to Cassoday next month? I've personally never been and July and August are the only two months I don't have kids and can go. So, just wondering who is going and if you are passing through Newton or not. Every 1st Sunday, there are a lot of bikes at the corner of 1st and Spencer that meet up there and head to Cassoday. May have a couple of other riders that are interested that don't ride X's, but I don't care what you ride as long as you ride.
Hopefully I can get a few miles on the new Bub pipes! WHOA what a sound and look!
Hopefully it's not going to rain...like today. It's going to be a WET ride home! :lol:

I won't be able in July since I will be in Colorado for their yearly event...August, I will be on my way to Sturgis

we'll have to set up something else in the meantime anyway.

I'll try to get some on here. Haven't quite figured out how to get them on here with all of the "code" nonsense! :oops:
Hopefully I'll get it figured out. I do have a few picts with the new pipes and the back rest with the seat and back rest recovered in grey instead of black.
We do need to get together again though for sure. Last one was a great time without a doubt. A little cold, but I guess we can gripe now because it's too hot! :roll:

I'm planning on going . I have never been but when I was 16 I spent a week there with a friends grandparents. I have only had my vtx one year and was away from riding. I cant get the picture figured ought on this message board I have a 2007 red 1300R with bags, windshield, highway bars,Clayton mod and a chrome flame kit on the tank and fenders

If you two (humbuckerz and tjs67401), or anyone else for that matter, head down (or up)to Newton and head east on 1st street, just let me know and I'll either meet you at 1st and Spencer where the gas stations are or you can meet me at my house which is just north of there. Not sure how many are going yet, but may have a Ducati and maybe a Star going too.

My wife just switched weekends so she will be on the back with me I have to be back in Salina by 2 pm I forgot a granddaughters birthday is that day .Too many grandkids I guess. How early should we leave for Cassody 7 am ? I am thinking about the South Kwik Shop across from Walmart be in Newton in an Hour leave there at 8 ? I'm asking I have never been there . :?:

tjs we can meet there, but if you go east on the 1st street exit you aren't going out of the way. First street (by the truck stop) goes right into Cassoday. There are two gas stations on the corner that most of the bikes stop at and meet up.
Either way is good for me though.
